Designer Prints from Reminiscence Papers
Coming from a book arts background and an original goal of designing papers tailored to book arts, Debra Glanz is now reaching out to a broader audience with her whimsical designs. After hand drawing all her designs they are put to screen for offset printing. All paper stocks are commercially made and printed in the US. A variety of stocks are used in the printing mostly coming from Fraser Papers or French Paper Company.
Debra Glanz has four criteria when choosing a stock to print on: archival quality (pH), recycled content, ability to hold up to a wide variety of adhesives, and ability to hold a crease/fold. All Reminiscence Papers currently in stock at Paper Mojo are certified by their mill to be either acid free or have a neutral pH. In order to join the Reminiscence paper collection, a paper stock must have a minimum 20% post consumer recycled content and 50% overall recycled content. While this is the minimum requirement 100% overall recycled content stock is frequently used.
Reminiscence Papers are very effectively in many types of scrapbooks, especially heritage scrapbooking. They are also wonderful for custom cards, invitations, and custom envelopes not only for their designs but for the weight and quality of the paper.
