16th century marbling techniques are combined with modern materials and aesthetics to create these refined marbled papers with sophisticated colors and metallic accents.
Originally developed for bookbinding and book arts, Brazilian artist Renato Crepaldi has built on his experience to produce marbled papers that are truly works of art. more about Renato...
Each paper is hand marbled one by one, a process that can take 20 to 30 minutes per sheet, depending on the pattern.
Special combs and rakes custom made by the artist enhance the delicate use of color and pattern in these traditional marble patterns.
Each sheet is marbled on pulp colored 80 g/m2 machine made paper.

Please note: Our Crepaldi marble sheets are priced as 1/2 sheets. If you would like a full sheet (approx 26" x 37"), please order two 1/2 sheets and we will send you the full, uncut sheet.
