Chiyogami (Yuzen) - Chrysanthemums
Literally, thousand generations (chiyo) paper (gami), Chiyogami is a highly decorative silkscreened Japanese paper. Our Chiyogami is silkscreened onto machine made sheets of mixed kozo and sulphite. Each sheet is approx. 70 gsm The striking pigment colors, careful registration of screens, wide range of designs and archival qualities make these papers ideal for picture mats, books and box making.Chiyogami is more popularly known as Yuzen in the United States.
